GIVE BIG to Communities in Schools Pittsburgh-Allegheny County

and Give the Gift of Winter Warmth to the students of Pittsburgh!

Samira, a middle school student living in Pittsburgh, has just one dream“I dream on having my own winter clothes” she recently shared with one of CISPAC’s student support specialist.

In Pittsburgh, more than 84,000 children live in poverty and harbor dreams like Samira. It’s hard to imagine during this season of regional prosperity, that 1 in 6 children will go through this winter without proper shoes, hats, gloves and coats they need to stay warm and attend school everyday.

GIVE BIG Pittsburgh happens on December 3, 2019. It will be your opportunity to partner with us to provide winter coats, hats, gloves, socks, scarfs, boots and sweaters for children like Samira.

A gift of $50 will outfit a student with a new winter wardrobe. GIVE BIG to Communities in Schools Pittsburgh-Allegheny County and partner with us to give the gift of Winter Warmth for the students of Pittsburgh.

As CISPAC board member Melissa Painter says, “If you can help someone, you should.” GIVE BIG on Giving Tuesday so Pittsburgh students will have what they need to stay in school and grow into the leaders, creators and tradespeople who will lead our city in the years to come.

Mark your calendar for GIVE BIG Pittsburgh, Tuesday December 3, 2019 and give the gift of Winter Warmth for the students of Pittsburgh… because each of them deserves to be warm this winter!
