Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and Partner4Work today announced that Communities In Schools, Pittsburgh – Allegheny County (CISPAC) was selected as a program provider for Young Adult Workforce Services for the 2019-2020 school year. P4W received more than $8.8 million in proposals asking to serve more than 2,100 young adults in our region. This morning, the Partner4Work Board approved entering into a contract with Communities In Schools, Pittsburgh – Allegheny County to serve students in Sto-Rox High School.
CISPAC will provide case management, career services, supportive services, training services, and job placement and retention services for students of Sto-Rox High School. The base contract year is July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, with three subsequent option years.
