We are honored to welcome Pittsburgh’s own Bill Milliken, founder and Vice Chairman of Communities In Schools as our special guest at Bash at the Bank. Bill Milliken

Bill has a long history of helping young people resume their education after dropping out. His experiences led him to search for a comprehensive community-based approach to help young people get the support they need to be successful in school. Ultimately, this lead to Communities In Schools, an evidenced-based program that coordinates existing community services into schools to address the multiple needs of at-risk youth and their families. Bill has advised U.S. presidents of both parties and has received numerous awards, he is the author of four books, So Long, Sweet Jesus; Tough Love; The Last Dropout: Stop the Epidemic! and From the Rearview Mirror.
